In March 2021, Double Trellis helped install a 24-hour accessible, free community fridge with local community members, Kaelee Dooley and Anthony Perez at the corner of Lehigh and Coral Street in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. We distributed over 30,000lbs of groceries, dry goods and hygiene products

In January 2023, due to the neighborhood asks and community support, we moved the fridge to Lava Space in Belmont neighborhood and partnered with Worker’s Revolutionary Collective to update the Ronnie Vega fridge. This partnership will allow for exponentially more distribution of goods in a widely underserved community.
